Celestial Origins

is a space opera with the breadth and world building of Star Wars paired with the in-depth, strange characters and relationships of the manga Beastars. The main character, Vishnear, heads this coming into adulthood story about finding your place in a world despite hardships you can’t control and struggling to accept who you are.

VISHNEAR

An anxiety-ridden priest chosen by the origin gods to become the next leader of his species.

ONE SECRET TO RULE THEM ALL

Vishnear’s past is ridden with inconsistencies and emotional walls. While he has a few, trusted friends, they still know little about his life prior to them knowing him.

IRENE

A tribe scout whose planet-locked life turns upside when a goddess takes residence in her mind.

SHARED SCARS

Growing up in a more strict, patriarchal tribe than most, Irene carries certain scars that scratch similar scabs as the goddess in her mind. Ones of bitterness and denial.

JENDRAE

A demoted soldier become shrine guard who befriended Vishnear and refuses to leave his side.

BROKEN BONDS

Jendrae, once a soldier, was demoted to being a shrine guard. He quickly bonded with Vishnear as well as a female Celest. He’s hot-headed, but easily calmed with good food and drink.

ADONIS

An exact opposite to Jendrae’s hot-headedness — cold and passive aggressive. He led the Celest species through the riots before Vishnear’s Ascencion.

UNWANTED FAMILY

Adonis quickly parted from his original family. No one knows why, especially since he touts being raised on a well-known Celest planet in one of the more dignified territories.

PQCTX

A wisened ruler who only allowed Celests to sign the Treaty of Vrinrae once Vishnear came to power.

PICKY BUT SMART

Pqctx has ruled her species for centuries now, seeing the rise and fall of many species. While she makes some strange decisions, few have steered her wrong and all have a reason behind them.

CY

A young and beautiful Celest who rose to power quickly. She helped Adonis finally quiet the riots.

FEMININE WILES

Cy is rather level-headed and confident. With this confidence, she often gets what she wants or, sometimes, who she wants.

Behind His Weary Eyes

is a precursor to Celestial Origins with a narrowed lens. Asa, the main character, guides you through a tale of re-finding your humanity sure to leave you grappling with your own questions of spirituality and suffering. What would you give to make things right?

ASA

An idealistic head medic of her tribe who finds herself more isolated from the ones she loves.

HARDENED HEART

Swarmed by new, chronic diseases and a failing marriage, Asa is in a spiral downwards, questioning her own faith and faith in others.

RENVIR

A younger, diseased Celest who doesn’t use his powers like other Celests often do.

THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING

Renvir, though kind, is secretive about who exactly he was before being exiled to the mines and what is exactly wrong with him.

ZIENNA

The head of all Celest healers who keeps things running efficiently and under an icy gaze.

ICY UNPREDITABILITY

Zienna keeps up appearances well, continuously showing her knowledge and skill. But she harbors a scar and collected wisdom that shows only in the smallest of moments.

LUDIS

A Wikev who has a special interest in Asa and particular disdain for the Celests.

THE KNOW-IT-ALL

Ludis loves a few things, one is being right and the second is knowing about all of the new medic transfers to sometimes an uncomfortable degree.

ECLIPSE

The primary area that explores the toxic affects of power, the inner darkness, embracing flaws.

The Celestial Trilogy

The main character, Calia, heads this story about figuring out who you truly are and what you truly believe through the hardships and roadblocks life throws at you.

CALIA

A sheltered Celest whose life changes when her powr grows, thrusting her into the height of Celest culture which she knows little about.

A FOLLOWING SHADOW

Since her childhood, Calia has had a skin disease. But this also comes with an itching anger and the occasional fearful gaze of her father that Calia doesn’t quite understand.

LYSIDIA

An albino Celest who once faced ridicule for appearance who became the ruler of the Celests millenia ago. Few remember a time before she ruled.

SLYLY POWERFUL

While Lysida can easily invoke fear with her shear size or power, she often leans into intimidation through her words first before taking action.

THEUS

A Wikev slave passed from Calia’s uncle to her father whose treated more like family than anything.

FATHER FIGURE

Despite Calia’s father’s attempts to connect, he still keeps a wall up. As a result, Theus ended up stepping into that role, and doing so rather well.

IDEPHNE

A stunning Arisen, a class below Lysidia, whose ruled just as long as Lysidia thought doesn’t seem to care for the ruler much.

NO-SO SECRET HIDEAWAY

Once known for her abstinence of many things, often to an extreme, Idephne now hosts parties of pure debauchury and is the main trader of illegal substances.
